You’re Responsible for NOT Indulging in Negative Thoughts

how to stop negative thinkingHappy Wednesday! Jason here…

I hope your day is off to a great start.

I think I jinxed myself Monday when I was talking about all the beautiful weather in New York – it’s been raining ever since I sent you that email.

On the upside, I planted a ton of grass seed to fix up the lawn and carrot seeds were planted in the garden (as you know) – so at least the wet weather is serving a helpful purpose.

That’s my “glass half full” approach to most things in life. I try to find the upside whenever I can no matter what the circumstance.

The reason I do this is quite simple.

We can’t always control what happens to us in life, but we can choose how to respond to it.

Crappy things will inevitably happen to us all – no one is exempt from a little (or a lot) of pain from time to time. But, indulging in negative thinking, more often than not, delays a problem’s resolution or prolongs the discomfort you’re going through.

“A coward dies a thousand times before his death, but the valiant taste of death but once. It seems to me most strange that men should fear, seeing that death, a necessary end, will come when it will come.” — William Shakespeare

Controlling your thoughts by acknowledging them and deciding how you can most beneficially move on from the present moment to the next is called Emotional Intelligence.

It’s also a very quick gauge of a person’s maturity.

I developed “Action Affirmations” as a tool to be more cognizant of my own thoughts and the free giveaway tracks posted here will help do the same for you:

Through continued use, listening to affirmations for just a few minutes a day have allowed me to live so much more consciously. This awakening, so to speak, bleeds into all areas of life.

After all, if you can control your thoughts then you can control your motivation to achieve whatever you hold dear in life. Any goal or aspiration becomes backed by a constant stream of empowering messages in your mind, telling you what to do next.

Sounds a little wonky, I know. But – I’m pretty sure that if you try this freebie giveaway and start listening to the tracks for just a couple of minutes a day, the results you start seeing in your life will be the proof in the pudding.

Let me know what you think. Are you typically aware of your thoughts throughout the day?

Do you monitor yourself and determine if you’re acting from a positive or negative place?

Do you think you’d see any improvement in your life if your mind was a constant cheerleader for your actions?

I’d love to know where you stand on this topic.

Until next time – Have a POWERFUL day! I hope you’re surprised today by
something unexpected and wonderful 🙂

Kind Regards,
– Jason
